-STEM Night happening tomorrow from 6:30-8 pm. There will be lots of free science stations for families to participate in. STEAM week celebration is going on this week. All week special presentations have been put on for the students. Some of the items that had been purchased by the PTA for the STEM cart have been able to be used this week.

-Talent show is coming up on the 22 and last day of school is on the 23.

No changes with membership since last meeting.

-FUN RUN: Raised $46,000 dollars. This is by far our largest participation fundraiser. We received donations from all 50 states. This rewarded the kids with pouring chocolate sauce over the principal. We had ice cream cards donated from Haagen Dazs. Papa Murphy’s is also a long time sponsor. This year we had many long term sponsors that helped contribute as well as new sponsors. Major contributing sponsors had their logos displayed on the back of the Fun Run t-shirts.

-Haagen Dazs is also giving 400 cards to be contributed toward Principal Sherer’s Principal 200 Club and/or birthdays.

-We received a door prize from Alaska Rock Gym which will be donated to the teachers for STEM Night.

-We have received multiple other gifts from a variety of sponsors and these will be used at different events as door prizes, etc.

-Outdoor Classroom: We now have the funds to fully support this project. We have an estimate of approximately 8-10 weeks from the time of breaking ground to project completion. There are approximately 40 small tiles and 20 large tiles that are still available for painting.

-Playground Equipment: ready to be exchanged and needs to be coordinated.

-May Mingle was a huge success. It may be an idea next year to do Trunk or Treat inside due to cold weather.

-Lots of crying farewells. Very sweet XOXO
